Creating and Distributing Rails Engines

Building Rails Engines is a powerful way to organize and reuse modules and functionalities across Rails applications. The whole concept of Engines, however, may sound obscure to new Rails developers. This talk is an overview of the basics of creating an Engine with its own set of models, controllers, views, assets and migrations. Beginners will also learn how to wrap and distribute a Rails Engine as a Ruby gem.
