Announcing activities open to the public

04 Mar 2011

ConFoo is at our doorstep and will be packed with technical presentations.

But we have more! We planned a whole week of free activities for networking and fun. Here is what we're opening to the public:

Wednesday

HackFest (All Day)
The HackFest will be open to everybody who wants to write code and show off their skills. Come take a look and try our sponsor's YellowAPI, the API for over a million Canadian business listings.
See HackFest page for More info

Thursday

UnConFoo (All Day)
The UnConFoo will be open for everyone who wants to share ideas and opinions about all related Web development. No call for papers and no boundaries: your own conference.
See UnConFoo page for More info

Free presentation (from 5:30pm to 6:30pm)
We open the conference doors for the public to watch Christian Heilmann from the Mozilla Foundation presenting "HTML5 - Moving from hacks to solutions": a top-quality talk that you could attend after work.

ConFoo Cocktail (Starting at 5:00pm)
Come have a drink at our cocktail: a place to meet great people and have interesting conversations. Many key players in the industry will be there as well.
See Cocktail page for More info

We hope you enjoy our schedule. We are really excited about it.

See you at the conference.
