Security and Usability have been at loggerheads since we realized we need to secure our digital existence with the secure option almost always being the least usable option. More recently we have developed more usable solutions and yet users still opt for the less secure option when they can. We’ll explore how users understand their security and how we can improve their security habits through good design.

Natasha is a user researcher and UX analyst at Intelerad Medical Systems, where she conducts in depth research with clients and users, bringing actionable insights to her teams to ensure their solutions are useful, intuitive, and engaging.
She recently graduated from the EIT Digital Double Masters program of Human Computer Interaction and Design, completing her studies through the University of Twente, Netherlands, and Aalto University, Finland.
