You asked for an ID before you opened the door. Who checks which rooms they open next? Authentication alone gets you almost nothing. Once a request is trusted, whole classes of failures open up: unauthorised reads, privilege grants, wrong balances, forgotten endpoints still answering, control panels wide open.
